About Astro Vastu Plus
Astro Vastu Plus is a Vastu consultancy in Mumbai that started in 2001, and Mulund East has been our base ever since. It was founded by Shri Yogeshwara G., whom most clients and students simply call Guruji. Over the years he has worked with Vastu Shastra, Vedic astrology, numerology and palmistry, and the aim has stayed the same: find out what is actually causing a problem in a person's life or business, and deal with that.
People come to us for very different reasons. A couple who have just bought a flat and want to know if it suits them. A shop owner who feels the business is stuck. A family that keeps running into the same trouble at home. We do not promise miracles to any of them. We study the property, ask the right questions and give honest advice. Sometimes that means a few small changes. Sometimes it means the space is fine and the issue lies somewhere else.

Every Vastu reading begins with the Vastu Purusha, the cosmic being said to lie across every plot and every flat, head in the north-east (ईशान्य) and feet in the south-west (नैऋत्य). The plan is laid on this mandala to see which zone each room falls in.
The corners carry the five elements: water in the north-east, fire in the south-east, earth in the south-west, air in the north-west, and open space at the centre, the ब्रह्मस्थान. A kitchen, toilet, bedroom or cash counter is then read against its zone.

Why You Need a Vastu Consultant in Mumbai
Most people in Mumbai do not get to design their own space. The builder decides where the kitchen goes, where the toilets sit and which way the main door opens. You end up with a 2 BHK on the 14th floor, a shop in a ground-floor gala, or an office in a complex planned years ago. Then you move in and start reading about Vastu.
That is where the confusion begins. One video says the kitchen must be in the south-east, and yours is in the north-west. Another says never keep a toilet in the north-east, and yours is exactly there. You cannot break walls in a society flat, and most people would not want to. So what now?

The right answer always depends on your full plan, so treat this as a starting point and not a replacement for a consultation.
The main door faces a direction you were told to avoid
You cannot turn a flat around. We look at exactly where on the wall the door falls, what stands outside it, and how the entrance relates to the family members' charts. In many cases we suggest corrections at and around the entrance first.
The kitchen is in the wrong corner
As per Vastu, the south-east is preferred for the kitchen, and the person cooking ideally faces east. When the kitchen is elsewhere, we check where the stove and sink sit and whether they can be adjusted within the same kitchen, instead of asking you to rebuild it.
Toilet in the north-east or centre of the house
This is one of the most discussed defects. Breaking it is rarely possible in a society flat, so we work with placement, usage and remedies that suit your layout.
Bed under a beam, or master bedroom in a doubtful zone
The position of the bed and the beams above it matter in Vastu. Often, shifting the bed or changing how a room is used is a simpler answer than people expect.
No space for a pooja room
Small flats rarely have a dedicated room. We suggest a workable spot and direction for a compact pooja space instead of insisting on something that does not fit your home.
A shop that is not doing well despite a good location
We check the entrance, the position of the cash counter and the owner's seat, how stock is arranged, and how the shutter and signboard relate to the directions. Location is one factor. The inside of the shop is another.

Should I get a Vastu check before buying a flat in Mumbai?

Does Vastu apply to high-rise flats?
Yes. Most practitioners assess the flat's own layout and entrance, and that is how we work too. A flat on the 20th floor still has a main door, a kitchen, bedrooms and toilets, and each of them can be reviewed.
What do I need to share for an online Vastu consultation?
Your floor plan (a hand-drawn one is fine if it is to scale), the direction the main door faces, a few photos of the main rooms, and what you want to improve. For Astro-Vastu, add birth date, time and place of the main family members.
Do you offer Vastu consultation in Thane and Navi Mumbai?
